Edinburgh roads in winter Contrast Car Valeting do a lot of driving in and around Edinburgh and so we cover a lot of roads. We think the worst road is now Leith Walk, and like many others this could do with some serious attention. With winter upon us, if this year is anything like the last, the roads will be a bad state. This is especially bad for tyre and suspension damage, and could cause serious accidents for cyclists. We urge all customers and businesses to let the council know of any bad roads before they get worse.

Seen the new Subaru? Over at Contrast Car Valeting we are really excited about it after seeing photos of the new Subaru BRZ. This new platform is a first for Subaru and is their first production car to be a rear-wheel-drive model only. Many think this is a move in the wrong direction for Subaru and the car may lose the legendary Subaru handling, but we cant wait to see them over here!

Land Rover Evoque Valet. Contrast Car Valeting added another car to its already huge belt with our first Silver Valet of the new Land Rover Evoque this week.
Fantastic looking car inside and out, valeting it was a pleasure and its back to looking its immaculate best. We think the Evoque could become the most popular small 4x4 (or SUV) on the roads.

Best movie car ever? Back to the Future is one of the best movie trilogies created and has perhaps one of the most memorable cars ever: the DeLorean.
Set for re-release in 2013 the DeLorean will become an electric sports car.
